Hi friend,
I don't know who needs to hear this today, but your life isn't behind schedule.
I think somewhere along the way we started believing that every decision had to be permanent.
What career should I have?
Where should I live?
Who am I supposed to become?
What if I choose wrong?
It's exhausting.
The truth is, most of the beautiful parts of life weren't planned five years in advance. They happened because someone followed a small curiosity.
A random coffee shop became a friendship.
A weekend class became a new career.
A walk turned into a hobby.
A conversation changed everything.
You only need to know what feels interesting enough to try next.
Lately, I've been making a point to experience one new thing every week - not because I'm trying to reinvent myself, but because I'm trying to stay open.
Open to surprise.
Open to joy.
Open to becoming someone I couldn't have imagined a year ago.
Maybe growth isn't about having a perfect roadmap.
Maybe it's about collecting enough tiny moments that one day you look around and realize you've built a life you actually love.
So if you've been putting pressure on yourself to have everything figured out...
Give yourself permission to just be curious.
One step is enough.
One new experience is enough.
One small "yes" can change far more than another week of overthinking.
You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just the next step.
A gentle prompt
This week, say yes to one thing simply because you're curious.
Not because it will make you more productive. Not because it will look impressive. Just because something inside you whispered, "That sounds interesting..."
Before I go...
If life feels uncertain right now, I hope you'll remember this:
You don't have to know where you'll be in five years.
You just have to keep showing up for the life that's in front of you today.
Until next Sunday,
Bex
